• Fully automated
  
  The Omega Pair Trading Engine (OPTE) automatically executes new layers and covers existing ones. The software can execute and trade numerous positions that a human cannot manage manually. Because of these capabilities, the system can trade a larger group of smaller positions to be more diverse and less concentrated in any given instrument. This diversity reduces the price impact of sending orders to the market, which results in better execution and fills.
  
  
• Fishing Orders
  
  OPTE sends buys and sells short fishing orders, cancellations, and replacements following stock price movements to execute the desired pair price. After the execution of one of the fishing orders, the software cancels the second fishing order automatically and sends out the appropriate hedge order. The most significant advantage of fishing orders is getting executions inside the bid-offer spread at the optimal price for the set trading parameters.

  OPTE is created with a cloud architecture directly connected to a Market Data Feed. In addition, all formulas are pre-compiled and executed on the server side, allowing you to get your orders to the market quickly.
